MADISON, NJ - The community is invited to hear Stephen Hill, found of Speak Sobriety speak about his personal struggles with substance abuse and his journey to recovery. The event, which will take place on Wednesday January 29,  is sponsored by the Madison Education Association (MEA) and the Madison Alliance Addressing Substance Abuse (MAASA).

From his bio, "Hill found his identity is sports, but let his athletic abilities go to waste after he began using drugs. Stephen finally hit rock bottom and entered his final treatment program in 2012. He ended up staying in this program for a full year. Slowly but surely, Stephen began to put his life back together. Family, friends, sports, health, fitness, wellness, and helping others became the top priorities in Stephen’s life".

According to the program's website, some of the experiences he shares are difficult for him to talk about, but states, "its worth sharing his story if it helps just one person". Come and hear Hill speak on Wednesday January 29.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Madison High School Auditorium at 6:30pm
