MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris County Board of Freeholders will "meet" on a call instead of in person due to the public health issues arising form the coronavirus situation, announced the freeholders.

The "meeting" will take place on Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m., and will handle county government business remotely, via a conference call.County residents are invited to listen and will have an opportunity to make comments.

“Due to COVID-19 public health needs, we have to exercise caution when it comes to group gatherings to ensure social distancing. But we still have an obligation to continue
operating county government in an open and transparent manner,’’ said Freeholder Director Deborah Smith. “So, we invite county residents to listen in or participate via their phones.’’
