MADISON, NJ - Community members are invited to a free event on Monday September 23. Come and visit with author Donna Beier Stein at 7pm at the Helen Whitney Chase Auditorium at 39 Keep Street in madison.

Scenes from the Heartland is a timely new collection from Donna Baier Stein consists of nine tales inspired by the lithographs of Thomas Hart Benton that bring to vivid life the early decades of the 20th century. While Benton’s iconic lithographs depict the past, the real-life people he portrayed faced issues that are front and center today: corruption, women’s rights and racial inequality.
