MADISON, NJ - Madison's largest event of the year, Bottle Hill Day, will be held Saturday October 5 from 10a.m. 5p.m.
This year, the street festival will span over six blocks and includes sidewalk sales, four stages with live music, the DDC Beer Garden, three separate Amusement Areas, food and 225+ vendors including non-profits, crafters and retail businesses.
The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm but the DDC Beer Garden will remain open until 6:00 pm. There will be great food options as well including the Food Court on Cook Avenue, other food vendors throughout the festival, local restaurants and a Food Truck Court on Kings Road. The Car shows runs in the Ambulance Corps Lot on Kings Road.
Bottle Hill Day attracts thousands of people from all over the area to Madison's downtown district. Hundreds of street vendors line the main downtown area and the downtown turns into a huge street festival. Expect traffic delays and detours around the center of town. The major road closures are Kings Road, between Prospect Avenue and Green Avenue, Central Avenue and Waverly Place.
Bottle Hill Day is celebrated rain or shine.
