MADISON, NJ -  Governor Murphy announced that all schools will remain closed through April 17, therefore all students  will continue with "DIstance Learning".  Madison High School Principal David Drechsel provided an update to parents and guardians. 

"While this is extremely frustrating for all of us, I have full confidence in our staff to continue providing the highest quality of instruction possible given the circumstances", Drechsel said.

He reminded parents and students of the additional resources that are available for students during this stress time.

The  high school Student Assistance Counselor, Vanessa Morgenthaler, is available for students. Students can make an appointment to speak with her regarding stressors of school, feelings, concerns or issues.

The school nurse, Diane Fastiggi is available if you have health related questions. Guidance Counslors, the media specialist, the athletic trainer and school secretaries are also available to families.

"Our staff will continue to take a positive outlook on this situation and understand the role that we play in providing consistency, routine, and structiure in our students' lives," he said. "We remain committted to this cuase ad will be here for anything our students need".
