MADISON, NJ Twenty-seven local businesses have volunteered to share their best food, drink and hospitality at Madison’s wintertime festive fundraiser.   The 19th annual Taste of Madison has been scheduled for Monday, March 23, at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park. To date, the event is still taking place.
 
“We’re in constant contact with government officials and health professionals,” Taste organizers said. “The health and safety of our guests, restaurants, volunteers and other partners is our top priority at this point. If there is a need to cancel or postpone the event an announcement would be made on or about March 16”
 
In alphabetical order the following businesses, five of which are new to the Taste, are scheduled to participate:

All Taste ticket holders are eligible to enter a raffle for one $500 travel voucher provided by Avenue Travel of 62 Main St., Madison. The Salvatore Minardi Salon of 8 Park Ave., Madison, will be providing general hospitality to Taste guests. The Taste of Madison will also offer a silent auction and tricky tray as well as a 50/50 raffle drawing during the night of the event.

"In its previous eighteen editions, the Taste of Madison has raised more than $590,000 and entertained more than 8,000 guests", said organizers. "Proceeds from the event funding charitable causes, civic improvements and business development in Madison", they said.
 
Taste tickets are on sale now at the Gary's Wine & Marketplace store in Madison and online at www.TasteOfMadison.org. VIP tickets, which permit early entry at 6 pm, are $100. General Admission Tickets, which allow entry at 7 pm, are $65 each. For all guests, the tasting ends by 9:30 pm. Taste tickets must be purchased in advance and ticket holders must be at least 21 years old. The recommended attire is business casual.
