Madison, NJ - The Borough of Madison is scheduled to host a Public Scoping Hearing on January 23, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at Hartley Dodge Memorial, 50 Kings Road, on the proposed diversion of approximately 1.743 acres +/- at the Madison Recreation Complex, 184 Ridgedale Avenue (Block 601, Lot 1.01) in regards to Madison’s Affordable Housing litigation and settlement efforts.
This hearing, pursuant to Rule 3.3.8 of the Rules Governing the Morris County Open Space, Farmland, Floodplain Protection and Historic Preservation Trust Fund, is in connection with the Borough’s Affordable Housing Plan and the Borough’s obligation to provide adequate affordable housing opportunities.
All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the scoping hearing for the revised application. Individuals unable to attend can submit comments on the diversion request to
