MORRISTOWN, NJ - Have you needed to go to the Motor Vehicle Agency but didn't have time to go up to Randolph? Well, now the Motor Vehicle's "Agency on Wheels' will come closer to you.
On Friday November 1st, between the hours of 10am and 2pm, residents can come to the Morris County Courthouse to get help with the following items:
Driver licenses: The mobile unit provides the opportunity for drivers to renew their license, obtain a duplicate license, change their name or address on their license, add a boat endorsement, add a veteran designation, register to vote and make organ donation selections. The mobile unit can not accomodate initial licenses at this time.
Non-Driver Identification Cards: The mobile unite can provide residents with photo identification that may then serve as a primary or secondary form of personal ID.
Registrations: Drivers may renew their registration or obtain a duplicate registration for their vehicle at the mobile unit.
License Plates: The mobile unit allows for drivers to surrender license plates
Placards: Drivers may obtain a Persons with a Disability, Purple Heart or Disable Veteran Placard from the mobile unit
Examination Permits: Residents can apply for an examination permit to take a written test. The written test, however, can not be given in the mobile unit.
