MADISON, NJ - Residents of Madison are invited to purchase discounted composters and rain barrels through the Madison Environmental Commission.

According to the flyer, send out to residents, the Earth Machine Compost Bin is made with 50% recycled materials and big enough for a family of five. The cost is $60 (regularly $99 retail).

The flyer also states that the commission is selling a 55 gallon rain barrel for $70 (normally $95 retail). The rain barrel is made with up to 50% recycled material, a lid with built-in mosquito mesh, spigot, overflow hose and clamp.

All orders must be received by October 7. To reserve a compost bin or rain barrel, residents should mail or hand deliver a check to the Borough Clerk, Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Attention Madison Environmental Commission. Include a description of what your are purchasing and your email address.

Orders must be picked up on Saturday October 12 between 12noon - 5pm. Location to be determined.
