MADISON, NJ - Free Radon Test Kits are being offered to residents of Madison, thanks to the Madison Health Department.
According to officials, elevated radon gas in homes is a public health concern. The EPA estimates that radon causes thousands of cancer deaths in the U.S. each year. Testing is the only way to find out your home’s radon levels. The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes below the third floor for radon.
Residents can stop by 28 Walnut Street in Madison from today through March 15 between the hours of 8:30am and 4pm to learn more about testing your home and how to obtain an easy to use test kit.
