MADISON, NJ - Madison residents and businesses are being asked to observe water use restrictions now that the warmer months are among us.

Outdoor use for lawn and shrub watering, car washing, driveway, and sidewalk washing is restricted to alternate days, borough officials advised. Residents and businesses with even-numbered addresses may use water outdoors on even-numbered dates, while residents and businesses with odd-numbered addressed are restricted to using water outdoors on odd-numbered dates, they said.

Water use is permitted from 12"01am to 8am and then from 8pm to 12midnight on designated days. Borough officials said that there is no outdoor water use between 8am to 8pm on any day.
