MORRISTOWN, NJ -  The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is taking part in an investigation into thefts from Santander Bank ATMs within Morris County, announced Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Acting Chief of Investigations Christoph Kimker.

At this time, there is no reason to believe customer accounts were compromised and that only the financial institution was victimized, said officials.

The investigation to-date uncovered that Santander Banks were being targeted by suspects who allegedly used ATM cards, credit cards, and bank cards to access the ATM for withdrawals.
