MADISON, NJ - Madison Mayor Bob Conley proclaimed the month of June as "Pride Month" during the Wednesday, May 27 Town Hall Meeting.

Mayor Conley issued a proclamation of inclusivity honoring Pride Month to Madison High School guidance counselor Nancy O’Brien and her wife Gina. Conley emphasized the importance of visibility for the LGBT community

“It is essential to acknowledge that the need for education and awareness remains vital", he said.

As a moderator for Madison High School’s GSA, O'Brien was thankful for the proclamation as it aligned with the agency’s values of safety, inclusivity, and diversity.
