MADISON, NJ – The Madison High School boys and girls basketball teams were inaction on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

The Boys Basketball team improved to 6-4 on the season after downing Dover, 41-25, on the road Tuesday night. Madison used a 15-5 third quarter to build a double-digit lead.
Madison is now on a three-game winning streak. The Dodgers will look to keep the momentum going when they host Mountain Lakes Thursday night at 7.

On the girls side, following its first loss of the season the lady Dodgers,   regrouped and bounced back with a 43-36 home win over Whippany Park on Tuesday night, improving to 9-1. The Dodgers led 16-4 after the first quarter. Whippany Park battled back with a 20-10 fourth quarter to cut the deficit into single digits.

Tess Callaghan put in a game-high 14 points for Madison. Kate Christos hit a pair of 3- pointers and added 12 for the Dodgers.

Julia Swan had eight points and six rebounds for Whippany Park.
