MADISON, NJ- After opening round wins from both the boys and girls Madison Dodgers, they were on the wrong side of the outcome in the quarterfinal round. The boys led going into the 4 th quarter and eventually fell to 15 th seed North Star Academy 52-46.

The girls lost to 3 rd seeded Rutherford 46-34, in which the Dodgers were outscored 16-6 in the 4 th quarter.

The 10 th seeded boys were the 2 nd higher seed upset-minded North Star Academy took out this week. In a tightly battled contest throughout, Madison held a slim 16-14 edge after one quarter. Madison pushed that lead up to 6 at the half before North Star Academy cut it back down to 2 starting the 4 th . The Dodgers were outscored 17-9 in the 4 th quarter, thus ending their season.

The girls traveled to Rutherford and battled hard in a one-possession game heading to the 4 th quarter. The Dodgers trailed by 8 at the half, before outscoring Rutherford 11-5 in the 3 rd . Katie Christos scored 11 points in a losing effort while Sadie Kim chipped in 10 points.
