MADISON, NJ - MADISON, NJ – The Madison High School basketball teams were in action on Thursday, Jan. 16.

The Girls basketball team improved to 10-1 and won its second straight following a 37-22 victory at Boonton Thursday night.

The Dodgers used a 12-5 fourth quarter to build a double-digit advantage. Tess Callaghan put in nine points for Madison. Madison takes on Roselle Park on Sunday at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

On the boys side, the Dodgers fell to 6-5 and had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 51-31 home loss to Mountain Lakes Thursday night. Brendan Mariani led Madison with 10 points. Spencer Myler and David McFadden combined for 40 points for Mountain Lakes. Madison takes on J.P. Stevens on Sunday at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Madison in “Believe in a Cure” day. The tip is at 5 p.m.
