MADISON, NJ - MADISON, NJ – The 10th-seeded Madison High School boys basketball team rallied with a massive second half and defeated 23rd-seeded Morris Knolls, 65-49, in the preliminary round of the Morris County Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 1.
The Dodgers trailed 36-29 at halftime after Morris Knolls had a 28-point second quarter. Madison rolled with a 36-13 second half, including a 17-2 advantage in the fourth. Andrew Stack knocked down six 3-pointers and led Madison with a game-high 26 points. Owen Eilender added 15 points for the Dodgers.
Madison (10-7) will travel to play at seventh-seeded Mendham in the county tournament first round next Saturday.
The team hosts Parsippany Tuesday night at 7.
