MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Madison High School boys basketball team fell to Morristown-Beard, 46-39, in Morristown on Thursday, Jan. 30, dropping to 9-7 on the season.

The Dodgers led 30-24 after three quarters before Mo-Beard outscored them 22-9 in the fourth.

Justin Axelrad had 24 points for the Crimson, and Ian Imegwu added eight points, nine rebounds and four blocks for Mo-Beard.

Madison has now dropped two in a row after winning three straight. The Dodgers lost to Morris Catholic by two, 44-42, on Jan. 28. The 10th-seeded Dodgers host 23rd-seeded Morris Knolls in the Morris County Tournament preliminary round Saturday afternoon at 1.

The winner gets seventh-seeded Mendham in the first round.
