STOCKHOLM, NJ - The Madison High School boys ice hockey team picked up its first win of the season following a 3-0 shutout of Sparta on Saturday at Skylands Ice World in Stockholm.

The Dodgers scored a goal in each period. Alvin Rhee put in a goal on assists from Jon Bear and Andrew Haralampoudis in the first period.

Cormac McNamara scored on assists from Aidan Niceberg and Johnny Hamwee to give the Dodgers a 2-0 advantage in the second period. Tyler Shannon scored on the power play on assists from McNamara and Niceberg for the third goal. Madison finished with a 59-17 edge in shots on goal.

Madison goalie Keaton Tom made 17 saves.

The Dodgers take on Kinnelon on Monday at Mennen Sports Arena at 4:30 p.m.
