MADISON – The Madison High School field hockey team is moving on to the sectional final.

The fourth-seeded Dodgers knocked off top-seeded Voorhees, 2-1, in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2 tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Down 1-0 at halftime, Madison put in two goals in the second half to slip past the Vikings in Glen Gardner. Mollie Sullivan and Chase Cmaylo scored for the Dodgers. Tori Brosie and Alexis Artigliere had assists for Madison, which improved to 14-3-1 on the season.

Madison goalie Charlotte Villano was credited with 16 saves.Voorhees’ Madison Ogorzalek scored on an assist from Brooke Hyland in the first half.

The Dodgers have won five in a row and have not lost since the Morris County Tournament semifinals.

Madison takes a trip to Rumson to play second-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in the sectional final on Friday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. Rumson-Fair Haven defeated Bernards in the
other semifinal.
