MADISON – The Madison High School field hockey and girls tennis teams were in action on Monday, Sept. 9.

Despite a sweep at the doubles flights, the Madison girls tennis team lost to Kinnelon, 3- 2. The Dodgers dropped to 0-2 on the season. Marina Gobbi and Emma Voorhes dropped just three games in a 6-2, 6-1 win at first doubles, while Shea Baggett and Emma Jasson also cruised at second doubles, winning 6-2, 6-0.

Madison field hockey defeated Montville at home, 5-0, for the team’s first win of the season. The Dodgers will have an off day before returning to action at home against
Boonton on Sept. 11.
