MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Madison High School boys ice hockey team suffered a 9-5 loss to Morristown-Beard Saturday night at Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown.

The loss was the first for the Dodgers (3-1-1) this season. The Crimson put in four first- period goals. Morristown-Beard finished with a 36-19 advantage in shots on goal.

Madison scored four of its five goals in the third period.

Cormac McNamara led the Dodgers offensively with two goals to go with an assist. Jacob Erickson, Tyler Shannon and Jon Bear also scored for Madison. Aidan Niceberg had three assists and Erickson finished with two. Goalie Keaton Tom made 27 saves in the loss for Madison.

Tommy Matthews, Andrew Low and Hollis Humphreis all scored twice for Morristown- Beard.
