MADISON, NJ - Baseball season may be over, but the Madison Little League is still celebrating the season.

Last night at the Madison Borough Council Meeting, the Madison 11 and Under Little League team was recognized for a huge accomplishment. The team won the state championship for the first time in 40 years. The Mayor presented the boys and the coaches with a Borough proclamation and a certificate from Mikie Sherrill, NewJersey's 11th congressional district representative.

Mayor Conley stated “baseball is a team effort led by great coaches. Madison is very proud.”
