MADISON, NJ - Madison football player, Paul Saurer, today, signed a Letter of Intent to play NCAA Division I football at Marist College.
During his signing at Madison High School, Saurer was surrounded by his parents, Danielle and Paul Sr. as well as high school staff.
"Madison High School Athletics is thrilled for Paul today on his commitment to Marist College to continue his academic and athletic career," said Assistant Prinicpal Andrea Padelsky.
Padelsky is responsible for athletics and described Saurer as "a young man of character".
"He has put in the hard work over the years both on the field and in the classroom and it has paid off", she said. "He is a natural leader, gifted athlete and serves as a positive role model to all,"
During his high school career, Saurer was named to the First Team All-Conference and Morris County Football Coaches Association All County Team. He was selected to play in the North/South All Star Game and was recognized as Madison High School's Honoree as part of the Greater Morris County Chapter National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.
