MADISON, NJ – The Madison High School girls basketball, boys basketball and girls ice hockey teams were in action on Friday, Dec. 20.

Girls Basketball - Madison opened the season with a 53-48 road victory at Kinnelon on Friday. The Dodgers trailed by 1 at halftime and then had a 14-8 third quarter to get a little separation. Two players finished in double figures for Madison. Tess Callaghan led all scorers with 20 points and Kate Christos put in 14. Junior Julia Olesen added 6 and Vivian Summerlin added nine in the effort. 

Kristyn Carroll paced Kinnelon with 18 points. Madison opens its home slate against Pequannock on Monday.

Boys Basketball - Madison rolled to a 75-41 home victory over Whippany Park Friday night. The Dodgers blew the game open in the second quarter with a 23-7 advantage.
The team will be on the road Monday night at Johnson.

Girls Ice Hockey - Madison dropped to 1-2 following a 4-1 loss to Chatham Friday night at Bridgewater Sports Arena.
