MADISON, NJ – The Madison High School wrestling and ice hockey teams were in action on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Wrestling -Madison opened the season with a home match against Union Thursday night. In a back-and-forth opener, Union came away with the 33-30 victory that was decided
right to the end. The Dodgers started with three pins at 106, 113 and 120 pounds. Steven Herrera had a pin to put Madison up 30-27.

Ice Hockey - Coming off the first loss of the season to Morristown-Beard, Madison took the ice to take on Morristown Thursday night at Mennen Sports Arena. The Dodgers fell to 3-2-1 on the season following a 3-0 loss to Morristown. Madison will take part in the Essex Holiday Tournament next week.
