UNION, NJ -- The 17th-seeded Madison High School ice hockey team lost to top-seeded Summit, 5-0, in the first round of the NJSIAA Public C tournament on Saturday, Feb. 29.

In a game that began on Friday and was resumed Saturday, Summit advanced to face ninth-seeded Verona-Glen Ridge in the quarterfinals.

Summit had a 33-30 advantage in shots on goal. Tom Pryymak led the Hilltoppers with two goals and an assist.

Madison goalie Keaton Tom made 28 saves in the loss. The Dodgers conclude their season at 11-14-1.
