MADISON – The Madison High School field hockey team took a trip to Rumson to take on Rumson-Fair Haven for the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2 title on Friday,
Nov. 1.

The fourth-seeded Dodgers fell to second-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven, 1-0, after Helena’s Stoever’s goal on an assist from Tyler Argilagos in the first half proved to be the difference. Rumson finished with a 9-3 advantage in shots on goal and Madison goalie Charlotte Villano made seven saves.

Madison, which was on a five-game winning streak and most recently defeated top- seeded Voorhees in the sectional semifinals, concluded the season with a 14-4-1 record.
