MADISON – The Madison High School girls tennis team is becoming quite the dangerous double-digit seed in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2 tournament.

Four days after upsetting fifth-seeded Hanover Park in the first round, the 12th-seeded Dodgers knocked off fourth-seeded Caldwell, 4-1, in the sectional quarterfinals on
Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Madison will meet top-seeded Summit in the North 2, Group 2 semifinals. Summit was a 5-0 winner over eighth-seeded Parsippany Hills in the sectional quarterfinals.
Summit is 12-4 on the season and finished third at the Union County Tournament this season behind winner Kent Place and runner-up Westfield.
