For a young athlete growing up in the Mahopac school district, what would you tell them about the experience of being on the lacrosse team and why should they go out for it?
There are a lot of reasons to play sports at Mahopac. First off, the coaching staff sacrifices a lot of time and goes above and beyond in helping us become the best players we can be. The great friendships you develop with your teammates between practice and traveling to games. Lastly, learning to deal with winning and losing, and handling the frustration when things do not go right in a game.
