CARMEL, N.Y.— The first-ever Carmel Spring Fair was held last Saturday along Gleneida Avenue in the hamlet of Carmel and the sunny weather brought out an impressive crowd. The event was sponsored by the Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce and featured local businesses showcasing their services and products.

MAHOPAC, N.Y.-The Mahopac Central School District rolled out its initiative to provide students in grades five through 12 with their own Chromebook laptops last week. The initiative to provide students with the cutting-edge technology will help make them “21st century leaders,” school officials said. MAHOPAC, N.Y.-St John’s fourth grade Division A CYO girls basketball team of Mahopac defeated Ardsley 30-15 in the league championship game on Sunday, Feb. 25, at Iona Prep.
