MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Despite the snow that still lingered on the ground, it must officially be spring because the Carmel Recreation and Parks Department held its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday (March 24) at Mahopac High School’s athletic field. Hundreds of youngsters came out to hunt for that perfect egg and fill their baskets. Hot dogs and beverages were served and the big bunny himself—the Easter Rabbit— made an appearance and posed for photos with his fans.
