MAHOPAC, N.Y.-It’s usually a close competition when Mahopac and Clarkstown square off in gymnastics and last Friday was no different.

Clarkstown edged host Mahopac 170.2-168.85 at Lakeview Elementary School.

“Another close competition and we fell a little short,” Mahopac coach Vin Collins said. “Some real solid floor routines today even with a couple of falls. We are still improving every meet and that’s what we are looking for.”
