As a senior, how do you see your role on the team, and how much do you value being a team leader?

I think as a senior I set a good example of staying positive on the court and I value being a team leader because I want to inspire people.

How do you feel the team has performed this season? What does the team need to focus on going into sectionals?

I think we did well this year, but we could play more aggressively and we should focus on communicating.

What is your favorite team activity, pregame or postgame ritual that you share with your teammates?

I love taking the bus to away games because we’re all so hyped and it’s always fun.

Who has been your biggest role model over the years and what have you learned from them?

My dad has definitely had a big impact on me and the way I play. He’s very supportive and is always there for me.

Tell us one thing about yourself that not a lot of people know?

That’s a really hard question because I’m pretty much an open book. You always know where you stand with me.

Do you plan on continuing to play volleyball in college? If yes, have you committed yet, where are you going and why did you pick that school?

I do plan to continue volleyball in college. I haven’t committed, but if I have the opportunity to play, I will.

Do you know what you want to study in college? If yes, what and why?

I want to go into something with psychology and behavioral analysis because it really interests me.

Who is your favorite pro or college sports team?

I don’t really follow sports, but the Patriots are pretty cool.

What is your favorite music to listen to warming up for a game?

My taste in music generally ranges everywhere, but I love to listen to upbeat songs and sing with Carah (Vitkus).

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

I would have the power to teleport so I could be in two places at once.

If you could pick one place to visit on vacation that you’ve never been to, where would you go and why?

Alaska, because I love the cold.

What is your favorite food to eat before or after a game?

I try not to eat a lot before a game, but I love salad.

Best place to eat in Mahopac and why?

One-hundred percent Bucci’s (Deli) if you’re looking for a nice sandwich or wrap — that’s the way to go.

Facebook, Twitter or Instagram? Why?

Instagram, because I have a pretty interesting life. Follow me @lindsayleggio.

For a young athlete growing up in Mahopac, what would you tell them about the experience of being part of the volleyball program and why should they go out for the team?

The experience was something I’ll forever be grateful for and having a second family and new friends that I would’ve never have known if it weren’t for volleyball.

You’ll Get a Kick out of Musical Classic ‘Anything Goes’

I’ve loved Broadway musicals since I was smaller than a piano bench. That’s one reason I enjoy writing about local productions in this space. The more people who go to musicals, the happier it makes me.

I didn’t realize how old-fashioned about musicals I could be, though, until my wife Elyse and I at long last saw “Wicked.” It only took us 15 years to get there.

A (Burnt) Toast to Love and Marriage, on the Rocks

In its first few moments, sitcom-style comedy “Clever Little Lies” grabs audience attention right away, with one of the most revealing wardrobe changes you’ll ever see on stage. It is done modestly but just provocatively enough to elicit vocal appreciation from amused patrons.

I was always very impressed that my dog could bark on command and come when I called his name, until I read in the newspaper about a dog that saved his owner’s life by calling 9-1-1. Apparently, when his owner had a seizure, the dog pushed a speed-dial button for 9-1-1, barked into the receiver for help, and then opened the door when the responders arrived.

Honestly, though, it’s ...
