MAHOPAC, N.Y.-Kelly McPartland, a 2015 Mahopac graduate, qualified and competed in the giant slalom event at the 40th Annual United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championships, held this year at Lake Placid from March 4-10. She placed 64th out of the top 110 female grand slalom skiers in the USCSA. Participating racers came from the top 20 teams that qualified out of 175 college and university teams throughout the U.S. McPartland is a junior at Syracuse University majoring in bioengineering and is a member of the women’s varsity ski team.
