More Lies Exposed

If you actually take time to do the research, it is amazing what you will find. I have been telling you for 10 years that this man-made global cooling—no, make that man-made global warming; no, make that climate change science—is a hoax meant to take control of our lives and give it to government.

The first red flag was that they kept changing the name. Second red flag: they kept moving up doomsday. Third red flag: these proponents of climate change did not change their lifestyles but tried to codify into laws changes in our lifestyles. Fourth red flag: all their solutions require us to give up our monies and liberties. Fifth red flag: emails out of England, which I wrote about, detailed how scientists fudged the data to fit their conclusions. Everything is based on a lie. If you have to lie to make your point, you do not have a point to make.

As you should know, one of the premises of the flat Earth crowd is that there has been a “pause” on warming in the last 17 years. This, in spite of the computer models, all said the warming would continue. So the flat Earthers have been very distraught, and they have been looking for excuses and reasons to tell people why the warming was halted that would not discredit their premise. So, what did they do?

There have been two stories in the Daily Mail in the last five days about how NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), the top climate change federal agency, had rushed research disproving the global warming “pause.” A whistle-blower in the agency finally got fed up with what he was seeing and offered conclusive proof that NOAA has not been following proper research standards.

This whistle-blower also claims that this data, which lacked proper context, was timed to be released right before the Paris accords. This is the information the Paris accords were based on. However, we were being told by the smarter than smart people that they are trying to save the planet and make sure ecosystems survive so humans can survive beyond 50 years from now.

Well, to prove my point again that this is all based on a lie and the real reason is control, from the Investor’s Business Daily: “U.N. Official Reveals Real Reason Behind Warming Scare” ( From the story: “At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.” What she said, and this is from the story, is, “‘This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.’ She continued: ‘This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.’”

What is she is talking about? She’s talking about capitalism. She admitted the task is overthrowing and transforming capitalism. That is the only economic model that’s worked in the last 150 years. Do not be surprised that you have not seen this story anywhere else in the mainstream media. Remember, bias is not only what is reported, but what is left out. Therefore, a bunch of young millennial college students who are the biggest believers that the world is doomed unless we end our use of fossil fuel will never know that one of the United Nations’ leading climate activists admitted that the objective is to overthrow capitalism.

That is why it is not what they do not know that makes them ill-informed, but what they know that is simply not true that makes them ill-informed.

Secondhand Smoke Is Not as Bad as We Thought

Another bogey man I have been writing about for 10 years is the myth of second-hand smoke. Now from, the headline: “We Used Terrible Science to Justify Smoking Bans” (

I have told you before that there has never been one autopsy that concluded any illness to second-hand smoke, unlike the autopsies that conclusively showed a correlation between first-hand smoke and certain illnesses.

The second-hand smoke theory goes all the way back to the 1990s. I wrote back when I worked for another publication and also this one that The United Nations/World Health Organization did a multiyear study with many, many thousands of people and they found there was absolutely no relationship between secondhand smoke and cancer. I linked to this report back then.

Why did I feel this was important? It is because the United Nations World Health Organization suppressed that report and did not release it. I was given access to that link because I had a customer who worked for that organization back then who thought as a smoker always complaining  about these no-smoking bans, would very much interested in this. This person had access to it, and gave me the link. Why was it suppressed? Easy, the United Nations decided to shelve it because it did not fit with the current narrative at the time, and its release might jeopardize future funding.

I admit, second-hand smoke is uncomfortable and does stink to people who do not smoke. However, it’s not deadly. There is no scientific reason why there cannot be accommodations made as there use to be for smokers and non-smokers in the same building.

Yet, and from the story: “Despite the mounting evidence that transient exposure to second-hand smoke is more an annoyance than a mortal threat, smoking bans have become widespread and politically entrenched. According to the latest update from Americans for Nonsmokers Rights, which publishes quarterly reports on anti-smoking laws, more than 80 percent of the American population now lives under smoking bans covering workplaces, restaurants or bars. An additional 3,400 jurisdictions ban smoking in outdoor areas such as parks, beaches, and stadiums. More than 400 cities and counties restrict smoking while dining outdoors. More than 1,700 college campuses are completely smoke-free. Nearly 600 jurisdictions include e-cigarettes under their smoke-free laws.”

Climate change, second-hand smoke, laws, regulations, taxes, all based on lies. All to promote control over your life. None of this will you read in the main stream media. Like me you have to find it for yourself.

This is what I say. What say you?

I Do Not Make Stuff Up!

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote in my column, “Watergate analogies apply to Obama, not Trump,” that President Obama’s Justice Department planted a spy in the Trump campaign. I said I used the term “spy” because this was a counter-intelligence operation, not a criminal investigation, where the term informant would have been proper.

That statement has been brought ...

Here's What You Missed Last Week

Last week, the Daily News ran a headline, “When is our father coming home?” This dealt with a person here illegally, married to an American woman with a family, who was arrested at an Army base while delivering pizza. You are supposed to think that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), under Trump, is tearing families apart. As usual, it was a crock of cow pies. It was ...

Reagan on Trump

The party of “Honest Abe” has now become the party of Dishonest Don, and what follows are some disturbing displays of a Republican Party that has become devoid of conscience:

• More than 4,600 American citizens dead in Puerto Rico—a postscript to the government’s abysmal response to the widespread devastation of Hurricane Maria;
• The underhanded ...

The Rich Get Richer, and We’re Paying For It

According to a Harvard University study published late last year, most Americans believe that the richest 20 percent of Americans own just half of the nation’s wealth. Wrong! The top 20 percent own 93 percent of the nation’s wealth, and the top 1 percent own 40 percent of that wealth. Additionally, the top 10 percent of earners in 2017 took home more than half the nation’s ...

What Kind of Sports Parent Are You?

Social media recently showered a lot of likes and love on a high school pitcher in Minnesota whose team was playing in a regional final that would send the winning team to the state championship game.

After the last batter of the game struck out, the pitcher did something unheard of. Rather than spontaneously join his teammates in an on-field celebration, as is customary, the pitcher ...

Competing—Against Yourself

This is the time of year when students are recognized at public ceremonies for notable achievements in their studies, their sports and in their extracurricular pursuits.

Where we live, there are awards in various sports that are named for our son, who also is memorialized by town ballfield Harrison Apar Field of Dreams and a charitable foundation of the same name.

Due to a rare dwarfism, ...

Packing Heat

“Are you leaving me?” asked my husband one night as he surveyed the contents of my closet on our bed.

“What? No!” I said. “Why would you think that?”

“Every single article of clothing you own is laid out on our bed,” he replied. “So I have to assume you are either leaving me or you have joined the armed services and if that’s the ...

I Come from the Land Down Under

I know this is a family column, so I’m going to put this in as delicate terms as possible.

This morning I woke up and I knew, as sure as the sun shines over Bora Bora, that something was very, very wrong in that place in my body where the Bora Bora sun doesn’t shine.

It’s that place I used to refer to my daughter as her hoo-hoo. But it certainly wasn’t a happy ...
