MAHOPAC, N.Y. - MSA Baseball & Softball Opening Day was a great success for the Mahopac community with 38 teams kicking off the season. The weather was fantastic, and there were smiles all day long on every field at Jimmy McDonough Park.

The day included a barbecue, live music, team photos, baseball games, softball games and a Pitch, Hit, Run Skills Competition. There were winners in every age group, and many players showed how fast they can pitch.

The event featured special guests, including Rascal from the Renegades Minor League Baseball team. MSA thanked all of the sponsors and volunteers who made the day a great success.
