MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Mahopac High School held its annual pop concert Wednesday night (Jan. 15) featuring its various vocal groups and music ensembles, including the philharmonic orchestra, PACapellas, Sinfonietta, sax quartet, chorus, concert band, Brass ‘n’ Bass, PACaVoce, and the symphonic band.

The program featured the groups performing renditions of pop songs. Highlights included the philharmonic playing instrumental versions of songs from “Frozen,” including “Let It Go,” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, as well as the sax quartet performing a Looney Tunes medley, and the symphonic band offering up a mix of Stevie Wonder tunes.

After the show, there was a reception in the gym featuring refreshments and performances by Jazz Band I and Jazz Band II.
