LINCOLNDALE, N.Y. — Livy Rosenzweig had a memorable performance with seven goals and three assists in a 16-9 win over visiting Mahopac on April 24 to improve the Tuskers' record to 6-1.

"My teammates did a good job of getting me the ball when I was open and cleared space for me," Rosenzweig said. "The offensive success starts with the defense. Even though we struggled on the draw and groundballs, we caused a lot of turnovers. (Goalie) Jess (Monaco) also made amazing saves and cleared it quick to start fast-break opportunities."

Hannah Tiso (3G), Lauren Colavito (2G), Emma Kittredge (1G, 2A), Katie Campbell (1G, 1A), Hannah Lustig (1G), Sophia Fiorino (1G), Teagan Lucchese (1A) and Jen Campbell (1A) rounded out the offensive production.

Gabby Light had three goals and an assist for Mahopac, which dropped to 5-4. Kristen Maxwell (2G), Diana Good (1G, 1A), Morgan Kirby (1G, 1A), Katie McDonough (1G), Caroline Raymond (1G) and Briana Corace (1A) filled out the stat sheet for the Indians, who host rival Carmel tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.

Somers hosts Brewster tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. and heads to Suffern for a 4:30 p.m. contest on Friday, April 28.

"We have been progressing slowly but surely," Monaco said. "We learn from each game we play and as our season goes on we are starting to work our kinks out. I think we can improve on draws and moving the ball quickly on offense, but we are definitely on the right track."
