MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Workers from Whispering Pine Garden Center and Florist in Mahopac came to the Chamber Park on Route 6N last week to prep the town’s Christmas tree for the annual lighting ceremony, which is slated for Nov. 28 (the first Saturday after Thanksgiving) this year. Whispering Pine has been volunteering its time, skills and service to the town for several years by trimming and shaping the tree and stringing the lights.
