SYRACUSE, N.Y.— A pair of MSA youth wrestlers placed second at states on March 18 at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse.

Angelo Centrone and Nicolas Greco both took the second-place honors. Centrone competed in the Division 4 seventh-grade division at 80 pounds. Greco was in the Division 4 fifth-grade division at 60 pounds.

The duo made states by finishing first at the Hudson Valley Regionals on March 5 at Minisink Valley Middle School.

Another MSA wrestler, third-grader Tommy Vitello, qualified for states with a fourth-place finish at regionals in the Division 2 60-pound weight class.

The program is run by Chris Greco and head coach Diego Jaramillo, a former Mahopac varsity wrestler who donates his time to the MSA wrestling program.
