Blood Drive

Assemblyman Kevin Byrne  is partnering with the American Red Cross to hold a community blood drive on Wednesday, July 31 from 1-6 p.m. at the Carmel Town Hall. Walk-ins are welcome but to schedule your appointment, please visit redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code “assemblymankevinbyrne.” Just one donation can save up to three lives.

To donate blood you must:

  • Bring a valid photo or signature identification
  • Weigh at least 110 lbs.
  • Be age 16-75 (16 year-olds need parental permission. Age 76 and over need a doctor’s note.)
  • Eat well and be hydrated prior to appointment
  • Have not gotten a tattoo within the past 12 months (unless applied in New Jersey)
