Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day for Putnam County residents will be held Saturday, Oct.7, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Donald B. Smith County Government Campus, 110 Old Route 6, Carmel. Pre-registration is required. Call 845-808-1390, ext. 43150, or if you would like to register by email, send your three preferred times (every 15 minutes beginning at 9 a.m.) to PutnamHealth@putnamcountyny.gov. You will be sent a confirmation with a time. If you do not receive a confirmation email within two business days, call the above number.
