MAHOPAC, NY - The Vulaj family held the ribbon-cutting ceremony of its restaurant La Famiglia Felice on Thursday, May 18. Helping to mark the occasion were members of The Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce and elected officials, Putnam County Legislator Neal Sullivan and Carmel Town Supervisor Ken Schmitt. La Famiglia Felice, located at 944 Route 6 in Mahopac, features traditional Italian cuisine. The Vulaj family also owns and operates Mike and Joe's Wood Fired Pizza and Pasta, which is located a few hundred feet away at 961 Route 6.

MAHOPAC, N.Y.-Mahopac’s boys and girls ski teams finished the regular season in a meet at Thunder Ridge Ski Resort last Friday, Feb. 9.
Abby Edwards led the girls with a 13th-place finish with a best time of 29.45 seconds. Meghan Cichon was 16th with a 30.83.
