MAHOPAC, N.Y.— Mahopac’s field hockey team was showing positive signs after picking up wins over John Jay-East Fishkill and Yorktown two weeks ago, but the Indians didn’t continue that surge, losing four straight games last week.

They fell to North Salem (5-0, Oct. 2), Suffern (5-0, Oct. 3), Arlington (2-0, Oct. 4) and Roy C. Ketcham (4-1, Oct. 6).

Shannon Barry made nine saves in the setback at Suffern.

Mahopac will look to bounce back when it travels to John Jay-EF for a 2 p.m. game on Oct. 14.
