Community Church to Hold Music Camp for Kids

SHORT HILLS: May 22, 2013  Community Congregational Church in Short Hills is taking registrations for a kids’ Music & Arts Camp to be held this July.   At the Music & Arts Camp, kids will sing, play instruments and create their own works of art, while preparing for a performance of the fun jazz cantata for young singers “100% Chance of Rain” – and your kids are invited to be a part of the fun!

 

It’s the perfect combination of learning and fun - with activities including choir & voice training, Orff instrumental ensembles, art, drama, movement and handbells, kids will not only learn about music & the arts, but have fun while doing so!

The camp will be held at Community Church in Short Hills from July 15th - 19th from 9am - 2pm for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Children entering 6th grade and up may participate by contacting JWS1971@gmail.com. The cost for the whole week (or any part of it) is $125 for members and $150 for non-members.

 

The Music & Arts Camp is part of the Church’s programming for kids of all ages, which includes Vacation Bible Camp from August 26th - 30th and children’s choirs.  Visit www.CommunityChurch.org to register for one or both of the camps and to find out more about other programs.
