Essex County, NJ – Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Harold J. Wirths will visit with employees who are working on the area's Hurricane Sandy clean-up project on Friday, March 1.

The group will meet by the South Mountain Dog Park located at the end of Crest Drive in the Essex County South Mountain Reservation at 10:00 AM.

The employees had been hired after the Essex County Division of Employment and Training received a Federal Hurricane Sandy Disaster National Emergency Grant that was allocated through the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development in December. The funds were distributed to local governments to assist with ongoing clean-up efforts.
