In an effort to promote and nurture another genre of art, SOPAC continues its visual arts initiative with The Herb + Milly Iris Gallery.  SOPAC’s lobby sets the stage for year-round rotating art exhibitions dedicated to bringing contemporary art to the community by featuring local artists and providing them with opportunities to reach new audiences.   SOPAC officially unveils the latest exhibition at a free reception this Wednesday 11/9.  On display will be Visual Rhythms - large scale acrylic paintings and giclée prints by Nancy Bergman Pantirer which will be on view from 11/9 to 3/31.

The Herb + Milly Iris Gallery is the creation of SOPAC Board Member Milly Iris, a South Orange resident and arts advocate.  In addition to the exhibitions, the Gallery will host an “Art About Series” which will include artist talks, gallery tours, educational programs, etc… The artwork on display is for sale with proceeds supporting SOPAC.
