MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Springfield Avenue Partnership will present HarvestFest 2013 on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hilton Library Branch area & Gazebo ground at 1688 Springfield Ave.

The celebration will include live music, pony rides, petting zoo, pumpkin painting, and special performances.  There will be great food as well as booths with local vendors.

“This will be a great time to celebrate Fall with your  family and friends,” said Julia Doran of the Springfield Avenue Partnership.  “There's something for everyone at HarvestFest.”

Special activities for kids will include face painting, bounce house, and crafts to do.  For adults, there will be crafts to buy, music and an array of food to enoy.

Live music will include performances by Mood Ring, Nat Grauman & Lisa Rott, and Kevin Chambers. There will be dance performances put on by Springfield Avenue merchants Inspirational Dance, the event's entertainment sponsor, and LaChaney's Dance Studio.

At the Springfield Avenue tent, they hold drawings for valuable prizes and gift certificates from local businesses.
