SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Seton Hall University will be closed Monday and Tuesday, university officials announced at 6 p.m. Saturday through its Pirate Alert system.

All classes and events scheduled for those days have been canceled.

In an email sent from Student Services on Friday, officials wrote, “We are working with Gourmet Dining Services to make sure students and essential employees are fed during the storm.”

Students and staff have been instructed to move their vehicles to the parking deck. In addition, employees in basement offices were told to move items off the floor and unplug electrical devices. Students living on campus have been instructed to "stay indoors" during the storm.

The university plans to provide emergency communication through its website and through its Pirate Alert system.
